A landing page has a single job: guiding the visitor to one clear action. If an element on the page doesn’t serve that goal, it’s getting in the way of conversion.
Start with a clear value proposition
Within five seconds a visitor should understand what you offer and why it matters. The headline should state the benefit, and the subheading how you deliver it.
- One prominent call to action (CTA)
- Social proof: reviews, logos, numbers
- A short FAQ that handles objections
- A simple form that loads fast on mobile
Don’t decide without testing
Try variables like the headline, image, button copy and form length with A/B tests. Even small changes can make a big difference to your conversion rate.
The fewer choices you give visitors, the easier it is for them to decide.
Don’t publish your landing page and forget it. Track the data regularly, understand behaviour with heatmaps and keep improving.
